It IS possible, but not quite yet. someone972 was working on a Driver Model Editor, but I lost contact with him, lol.
You can find out more about this here: http://www.drivermadness.net/forum/v2/v … 922#p31922

I have to basically take a print screen picture of EACH palette containing the proper colors and put them together in Photoshop. The first one is 12 layers, the second one is about 20 - 22 layers. The third one is showing you what I'm talking about. The last one is an unused palette for the New York civ car, possibly this one -

And no, the Beta GSX is gone forever. The Reflections team completely overwrote the Yellow GSX and replaced it with the crap one we see now.
How to fix Mission.? missing!:
Rename all .FRE files to .USA files
Hopefully in the future we will have separate rims
I'm afraid I can't say much more as of now. It's either an exported model from the game, or it's a remake. Just wait and see;)

What could these mean?
Excellent!
haha that's awesome!
glad to see some people using the D.T.E!
I made these awhile back -

I wish someone would upload the frontend mod...:(
Hey guys, I might have a little proposal.
What is everones opinion on a Driver Network? Sort of like linking all of the Driver fansites through one big network!
Here's how it'd work:
We all place a little bar at the top of our home pages and in that little bar is the link to Driver Madness, Driver Tools. Driver Dimension (maybe Driver 4)
How does that sound? Just an opinion. I'm also working on a remake of DriverHQ. It's using the WayBack version from 2001, and so I saved all of the files to my computer, edited some code, and then began working on the messed up graphics. Some images were missing, but I fixed that
Anyways, here's a preview:

Comments? I still need to fix ALOT of errors, then stick it all together in PHP code lol. Right now its REALLY messy. I love messes. lol.
Haha thanks for all the comments on my forum!
Anyways, I have a great database to store textures - the drivertextures photobucket!
Here are the login credentials:
user: drivertextures
pass: abc123
That way we can have ALL of our Driver Textures in one neat little photobucket that anyone can access!
Oh, Ok. I just swear i've seen differences before...
Hey guys, its me - the dude who showed you the Texture Editor and the Co-ordinates decoder. Lol.
I have opened up my own fansite, Driver Tools - check it out and please tell me what you think of it!
Wait a minute here...The Buick Skylark texture looks a little different then my version...
Could someone please upload the french Buick Skylark and post the texture here? Much appreciated!
Ah, well when you get no traffic here or @ DM, it sucks
I see how it is, CIV CAR edition gets its own page and sticky, but texture editor sits down at the bottom of the pit. What's with that? That's cold...
There is so much you can do with the texture editor, you can replace almost any texture with your own, yet civ car edition just has different cars and doesnt even have damage! texture editor should be more popular than civ car edition, but i guess you guys dont seem to care anymore.
Umm, the lang.????missing problem is caused by the language extension. To fix this problem, rename all .USA/.GER etc. to .FRE (French)
Ex.
lang.usa becomes lang.fre
PROBLEM SOLVED.
Well Mobman02, someone still has ALOT of room to develop. In a future version we might see multiple palette importing working correctly, meaning AWESOME CUSTOM CIV CARS!
I myself fixed the beta buick textures:

Made a pack here for all levels (NO DAMAGE INCLUDED):
Once someone972 fully understands how the .D3D files are read by the .LEV files, we might see Driver: Civ Car Edition with damage! I bet you anything its possible.
Why hardly any downloads, guys? I thought you guys were anxious to get this program!
Enjoy, you can do anything you want with texture editor. possibilities are endless!
Happy Modding!

2.0A has an all new 3D feature! CHECK IT OUT!
You're quite welcome. Expect the program sometime near March 30th...
BTW those pictures you tried to look at is indeed a television -

And this is some level design textures (also what you saw) -

The reason PSicture does that is because it doesn't support 15-bit colors, only 8-bit and 16-bit colors. Driver textures are encoded in 15-bit or whatever. Right now the way the program is ran is by me exporting the textures as a .BMP and then re-importing them as a 24-bit BMP saved in photoshop. Otherwise it doesnt work.
